My mother has been my role model since the day I was born. She has always pushed me to do and be my best, but to never lose sight of my happiness. She continues to break barriers in her professional career and is an example for me every day.
Breaking the Bias, to me, means to uplift and empower other women. To me, it means to find strength in ourselves through the example of others and to remove the unhealthy competition and animosity towards one another in the workforce.
Organization and attention to detail. I make lists every day and I take as many notes as I can. I like to treat each deliverable like a college assignment, with a rubric attached…the only way to get an A is to check off all of the requirements.
There is a place for everyone. Each one of us is equipped with a set of skills that sets us apart and makes us an asset to any team. Take your time, know your worth, and play to your strengths.
